History

 

My Name is Sharron Armstrong and  I am the owner of  Shola School Sewing Services.

I began this service in 2012 when I was contacted by a local School shop who had stock that they could no longer sell for a number of reasons .

It soon became apparent that many School uniform suppliers where suffering with the same complaint. Skirts that could not be sold due to the length being much longer than customers where demanding. Blazers that had outdated Emblem's on. An abundance of larger sizes, and a shortage of smaller sizes. And so the list goes on.  

I have worked with many businesses since all over the north west. The service price list shows the most frequently asked alterations from suppliers. If You have something that stands outside of this please contact me.

I have over 30 years experience within the clothing industry, covering everything from design, garment making, Pattern cutting and an extensive knowledge of clothing alteration

I originally trained in Saville row and have worked in multiple fashion houses in London and Amsterdam.

I have a long history of alteration services , which qualifies me with an indepth understanding of fabric knowledge and customer needs
